After a rather chilly BBQ last October, we hoped that reverting to our usual month of May would ensure warmer weather and that was indeed the case on Saturday evening. We even managed some 'party lighting' so nobody had to jump up and down or wave their arms about to trigger the motion sensors this year - it stayed light late enough that we could see what we were eating and after that, nobody needed bright light to find their glass! However, there was heavy rain overnight and into Sunday morning, bringing a noticeable drop in temperature - Sunday's picnic lunch was held under canvas.

Darq decided to put her own spanner in the works by starting her very first season, which meant she wasn't allowed out to play with all the boy dogs. At the very end of Saturday evening though, when only big sister Dash was left in the garden, the two of them had a lovely racey chasey game around the lawn.

This was sadly the last Darian Day gathering, due to the difficulties of finding a suitable date for enough folk, combined with us now being so far off the beaten track that an overnight stop is needed. We're very sad, but will always be delighted to welcome any Darian Family members who can visit individually. It's also fantastic to know that quite a few of them meet up regularly at Obedience and Agility shows and enjoy keeping in touch with each other and with us.

This year's photos are presented in slideshow format and will play continuously. Most were taken by Chris & Bob - thank you!
