Abi was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle of Border Collies....

A blue bitch, not flashily marked but with superb conformation and a delightful personality, Abi had the brains to become a lawyer, but my other commitments meant she never worked competitively.

She produced lovely puppies, some of them soaring to the heights of Championship class Agility and Working Trials, others doing brilliantly in Obedience and one becoming a French Champion, which title requires a working certificate as well as CACIBs in the Breed ring. It's safe to say that she passed on her working ability as well as her wonderful disposition.

Abi was the star of the first 3 Darian days, following always in my footsteps, true to her nickname of Little Blue Shadow. Given sleep just a few days short of 14 years, 8 months, she leaves such a gap in our lives - but her legacy is huge and I type this with her son, granddaughter and great-granddaughter at my feet.

Sleep well sweetheart…. so loved, so missed….
