STRATFORD ON AVON

We lived on the northern outskirts of Stratford for over 41 years and it's a town we love, notwithstanding the changes we've seen over those years. Some have been good - others had best be left without comment!

Below are just a few of the many photos we've taken in and around the town. A minimum of background info is given in some instances, otherwise I've just titled the photos. Finding out more about this amazing place is down to you and the search engines, but rest assured, Shakespeare's Stratford has been written about for centuries, so there's plenty of detail out there!

In May 2011 I added a second page of photos, partly because the Royal Shakespeare Theatre now looks very different both inside and out and partly because the walk along the riverbank is worth recording! You'll find a link to Page 2 below the thumbnails.
